APPOINTMENTS

To make a GP appointment ring (01772) 310100 between 08:00 - 18:30 Monday to Friday. The staff will try to offer you an appointment to suit your needs. There are also additional routine appointments available between 18:30 and 20:00 on weekday evenings and between 09:00 and 17:00 on Saturdays from our extended hours hub. Click here for more information.

You will be asked to return for a second appointment if you have more than one problem (to ensure the smooth running of the surgery) or you may be referred to a GP in the practice who has a special interest in your particular problem.

All GPs have a number of appointments available for the same day. These are offered when we open the telephone line at 08:00. When all the same-day appointments for the doctor of your choice have been used, appointments available for other doctors will be offered.

Regular GP Appointments are available during the times below, excluding bank holidays.

Appointments may be up to 10 minutes duration.

INCREASED ACCESS APPOINTMENTS

We also offer Increased Access appointments. Click here for more information. Times may vary subject to availability of clinicians.

PRACTICE NURSES

In many cases it is worth considering an appointment with a PN rather than a GP. PNs are qualified to deal with many conditions and you may be seen more quickly. A visit to the PN may also avoid someone who is quite poorly being unable to be seen more urgently by the GP.

CHAPERONES

If you wish to have a friend, relative or member of staff present during a consultation, please mention this to the clinician and it will be arranged.

CANCELLATIONS

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.

This can be done on-line, through the NHS app, in person at reception, or by calling the practice on 01772 310100,

PLEASE NOTE:

Patients who fail to attend for 3 appointments without explanation are sent a warning letter informing them that they will be removed from our list if they continue to miss appointments.
