Non-NHS Services

Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges. Examples include the following:

• Medicals for pre-employment, sports, driving requirements and adoption/fostering (HGV, PSV, AH1 & AH2 etc.)
• Insurance claim forms
• Prescriptions for taking medication abroad
• Private sick notes
• Vaccination certificates
• 'To whom it may concern' letters
• Forms for collection (see below)

The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales and our reception staff will be happy to advise you about them along with appointment availability.

If you leave a form which needs completing by a doctor, we will contact you when it is ready for collection. Payment can be made by cash or bank transfer for forms which incur fees (holiday cancellation, insurance, etc). Prepayment may be required.

Note: forms may be completed by a different doctor than requested
